On this page, I have assembled some projects for Windows Phone 7.5. They are designed to get you started with C# and/or C# apps. You can run these apps inside Visual Studio 2010 in the emulator. If you have a phone, you can download the apps into the phone if it is registered with Microsoft. Once you register it, it will be unlocked for development purposes.

C# & C# Apps

General Resources
  • Getting started
    Download & install your tools first!
  • Setting up your development computer
    • Step 1- Install Visual Studio 2010 Professional OR download all of the phone developer tools you need here.
    • Step 2- Install Expression Blend 4  or get Expression Studio 4 from your MSDN account.
    • Step 3- Install phone SDK 7.1
    • Step 4- Install Silverlight 4 SDK (Do not install Silverlight 5!)
    • Step 5- Have a Windows Phone? Then register it with Microsoft and get it unlocked. If you don't, you cannot download your projects to your phone.
    • Step 6- No phone? No problem! You can run your apps in the Visual Studio emulator.
